Welcome to our Flanagan State Bank Branch in Flanagan, Illinois

Flanagan State Bank was founded in 1913 and has been family-owned since Hank Schwerin became involved in the 1930’s. Our Flanagan office on Rt. 116 is our original location. A new building was constructed in a beautiful prairie-style design in 2014. Look for our professional landscaping and large electronic sign out front. When the weather is nice, customers like to use the path on the eastbound side of Rt. 116 to walk, bike, or use a golf cart to visit our bank from town.

When you visit us, you can expect a “small town feel” with all the conveniences of any large bank. Everyone who has never been here before is amazed at the beauty of the facility. You’ll be greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. Our employees strive to provide knowledgeable, exceptional service. Parking is available in front of the building for customers. We recently added automatic front doors to enhance the wheelchair accessibility of our entrance. We also offer drive-thru banking and a drive-up ATM for your convenience.

As a longtime family bank, we love to support our local community. The Flanagan office typically hosts events such as our Veteran’s Day Luncheon and Christmas Open House week, and participates in the FHS Homecoming Parade Float and the Flanagan sale. We also support the Livingston Co. United Way.

Randi has been with Flanagan State Bank since 2017. She joined the team a week after graduating from Eastern Illinois University. The most rewarding part of Randi’s job is getting to help a customer and knowing they leave feeling happy:

“I love to put a smile on someone’s face when I am talking with them. There is no better feeling than when a customer leaves feeling better than when they walked in.”
