Flanagan State Bank, founded in 1913, is here to serve your financial needs. Flanagan State Bank is still a family-owned and operated bank, ever since Henry "Hank" Schwerin and Henry Koopman bought the majority of the stock in the 1930's.

For more on the history of the bank, see History.

Flanagan State Bank offers you local decision making, personal service and an array of state-of-the-art products you need to manage your financial lives. Some of the things we are known for:

  • quick decisions featuring local decision making,
  • hassle-free mortgage loan and closing,
  • agricultural expertise and advice,
  • tools to manage your business banking like remote deposit,
  • competitive CD rates,
  • investment management and advice without commissions, and
  • our Roadrunners Program with banking and travel benefits

More and more every day - Flanagan State Bank is a great place to do business.

We don't treat you like a number; our name and your checks don't change every third year when another buyout occurs with the regional and national banks. We are here to stay - hopefully for another 94 years!
